All participants must register and pay the registration fees via the online registration site, PaperCept (under preparation). Only online registration is accepted for SICE FES 2026. All prices are listed in Japanese Yen (JPY), and all registration rates are inclusive of the 10% Japanese consumption tax. SICE FES 2026 offers two categories of registration:
- Full Registration with Presentation for presenters, and
- Audience Pass without Presentation for non-presenting participants, including co-authors who will not present.
Details of each category are provided below.
1. Full Registration with Presentation
This category is intended for presenters. Participants who will present a paper (regular or position) at SICE FES 2026 must register under this category. Full Registration includes eligibility to upload the final manuscript, present at the conference, and have the accepted paper included in the proceedings.

2. Audience Pass without Presentation
This category is intended for participants who will not present any paper, including co-authors who are not designated as presenters. Audience Pass holders may attend all sessions, plenaries, workshops, tutorials, and official events, but cannot present or submit papers.

Registration Fee Coverage
Both Full Registration and Audience Pass include access to the conference venue, electronic proceedings, live-streamed sessions, plenary talks, tutorials and workshop, ceremonies and official events. SICE Member rates also apply to SICE Supporting Members, and Affiliate Member rates apply to members of the following societies: TBA
Tutorials and Workshops
Participation in tutorials and workshops is free of charge; however, participants must register for the specific tutorials and/or workshops they plan to attend when completing their conference registration.
Important Notes
If your final paper exceeds allowed page limit, please complete the final submission information on your author workspace first. Only after completing this step will the excess page fee appear automatically. Extra page fees cannot be paid directly without this step.

Registration Fee Policy
Registration fees are collected in Japanese Yen (JPY) per payment processing requirements. Registration and payment must be completed through the PaperCept registration system (under preparation). Only credit card payments are accepted.
All registered participants may download the conference proceedings from the conference webpage.
Early-Bird Registration
Early-bird registration is available until July 31, 2026. To receive the discounted rate, please complete your registration via PaperCept by the deadline. After August 1, 2026, standard registration rates will apply. The PaperCept registration site is scheduled to open in June 2026.
Cancellation Policy
In case of cancellation on or before July 31, 2026, the registration fee will be refunded after deducting a cancellation fee of 10%. Please note that all refunds will be processed after the conference. After August 1, 2026, no refunds will be issued under any circumstances. Please be advised that if your registration has been used to upload your final manuscript, the registration fee is non-refundable, regardless of the cancellation date. All cancellations must be completed through PaperCept (under preparation).
