Organized Session Proposal

Organized Sessions aim to provide a focused forum for emerging research topics, innovative methodologies, or advanced applications in fields related to instrumentation, control, and systems engineering. Each Organized Session consists of 5–6 papers, all of which will undergo the standard review process. Both regular papers and position papers may be included.

Organizers are encouraged to submit a brief statement describing the technical focus and significance of the proposed session, along with the list of papers to be submitted.

Submission Requirements

Each Organized Session proposal must include the following information:

  • Session Title:
  • Session Description (brief statement of the focus and objective):
  • Session Organizers (name, affiliation, contact information):
  • Session Chair:
  • List of Corresponding Authors (name, affiliation for each paper):

Proposals must be submitted through PaperCept by the designated deadline. The proposals will be reviewed by the SICE FES 2026 Program Committee. Please note that acceptance is not guaranteed and may be limited by the number of available session slots. For accepted Organized Sessions, the organizers are responsible for managing and moderating the session during SICE FES 2026, including communication with presenters.

Submission of Papers in Organized Sessions

When an Organized Session proposal is submitted via PaperCept, a session identification code (Session Code) will be issued to the organizer.

  • Organizers must inform all presenters of this Session Code.
  • Presenters must enter this code when submitting their Organized Session Regular/Position Papers in PaperCept.
  • The submission deadline for Organized Session papers is the same as for regular sessions.
  • Accepted papers will be included in the conference proceedings and scheduled in an oral session.

Note: All Organized Session presentations are Oral Presentations only.

The Session Code is also shown in the manuscript data on the acknowledgment letter, and presenters must refer to it during their submission process.

Important Notes

  • Organized Sessions help highlight emerging fields and promote community-building within SICE FES 2026.
  • Proposals that demonstrate strong thematic coherence and clear scientific relevance are given priority.
  • Organizers are encouraged to promote diversity in authorship (institutional, regional, career stage).

Additional details, including deadlines and PaperCept submission links, will be posted on this website.
