Overview
The SICE FES 2026 presents several awards and grants to recognize outstanding research contributions, presentations, and student participation. These are organized into two groups based on the evaluation body:
- Group A: SICE Annual Conference Awards (Categories 1–3)
Evaluated and selected by the SICE Awards Committee - Group B: Sponsored Award and Student Travel Grant (Categories 4–5)
Evaluated and selected by the SICE FES 2026 Awards Committee
Application procedures for all awards and grants will be announced on this website.
Group A: SICE Annual Conference Awards
These awards recognize the most outstanding papers and presentations at the SICE FES 2026, aiming to strengthen the conference as SICE’s premier event and promote its internationalization.
1. SICE Annual Conference International Award (Basic Technology / Application)
Recognizes the most outstanding papers and presentations among all regular papers accepted to the conference, where position papers are excluded.
2. SICE Annual Conference Young Author’s Award
Eligibility:
▶︎ 35 years old or younger as of January 1, 2026
▶︎ First author, presenter, and responsible contact person
▶︎ Must apply via PaperCept at the time of final manuscript submission
▶︎ Must agree to provide necessary personal information for age verification
Regular papers applied to this award are excluded from the SICE Annual Conference International Award.
3. SICE Annual Conference Poster Presentation Award
Recognizes poster presentations demonstrating excellence in:
▶︎ Academic quality
▶︎ Poster design and clarity
▶︎ Explanation and Q&A performance
▶︎ Manuscript quality
Eligibility Notes (Applicable to Categories 1–3)
Past recipients must wait five years before receiving the same category again. Award recipients are not eligible for the SICE Young Author’s Award (学術奨励賞).
Group B: Sponsored Award & Student Travel Grant
These awards are provided with the support of sponsors and partners and aim to broaden participation and highlight impactful contributions in SICE FES 2026.
4. Sponsored Award
Recognizes presentations selected by partner organizations or companies based on criteria defined by each sponsor. Further details, including eligibility and selection criteria, will be announced once finalized.
5. Student Travel Grant
Supports students demonstrating strong academic potential who wish to attend the conference. Recipients receive a waiver of the conference registration fee. Details on eligibility, required documents, and application procedures will be published as they become available.
